The Impossible Desk

Privacy

Privacy notice.

Revision date: 22 October 2026

1. Scope of this notice

This notice covers this informational pre-launch website only. The website has no forms, accounts, registrations, bookings, sourcing requests or payments. Any future services, if launched, will be covered by a separate or updated notice before they become available.

2. Who is responsible

The Impossible Desk is a trading name operated by VR Consulting BV (Belgian private limited company), not a separate legal entity. The controller for personal data processed through this website is VR Consulting BV, Luxemburgstraat 20, 9140 Temse, Belgium. Enterprise number (KBO/BCE): 0687.376.444. VAT: BE 0687.376.444. Contact: info@theimpossibledesk.com.

3. Data processed when you visit

When you load a page, your browser necessarily sends technical data such as your IP address, requested page, date and time, and browser information to the server that delivers the website. This is needed to deliver and secure the website.

The website is published on Lovable (Lovable Labs Sweden AB) and delivered through a global content delivery network. The platform keeps request logs that may include your IP address, the requested URL and query string, the request method, the response status and timing, and an approximate (coarse) location. Request bodies and request headers are not logged.

4. If you email us

If you write to info@theimpossibledesk.com, your message may contain your name, your email address, the content of your message and any attachments you send us. We process those details to read your message, reply to you and keep a record of the correspondence. The controller for this correspondence is VR Consulting BV, whose details are in section 2. Because no bookings, sourcing requests or payments are accepted at this stage, please do not send requests or sensitive personal information.

Email for this address is provided by Microsoft 365, which VR Consulting BV subscribes to through GoDaddy. We have not confirmed the exact contractual roles of GoDaddy and Microsoft for this subscription — for example which party acts as processor, and whether GoDaddy can access mailbox content — nor the location where mailbox data is stored, how long correspondence is kept, or whether data is transferred outside the EU/EEA and under which safeguard.

A relevant source is Microsoft's Products and Services Data Protection Addendum (DPA), which sets out Microsoft's data protection terms for its products and services: aka.ms/DPA. We have not verified that this addendum is the agreement that applies to a Microsoft 365 subscription purchased through GoDaddy, and no claim is made that it does.

5. Fonts, statistics and advertising

The website's fonts (Cormorant Garamond and Manrope) are bundled and served from the website itself; no font requests are sent to Google Fonts or another font service. The website contains no analytics, advertising pixels, tag manager or social media plug-ins. The publication platform's visitor statistics feature (Lovable Visitor Analytics) is switched off.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The website sets no cookies of its own. It uses your browser's session storage (entry name: tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3) only to remember scroll position while you navigate in the same tab; it is cleared when the tab's session ends and is not used to identify or track you. No local storage, databases or service workers were observed in a check of the development website.

7. Recipients and international transfers

We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. Technical data is processed by the providers that host the website and handle email on our behalf.

Website technical data is processed by Lovable and its infrastructure providers. Because delivery runs over a global network, this data may be processed outside the EU/EEA, with the safeguards described in Lovable's Privacy Policy, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Email is handled by Microsoft 365 through GoDaddy, as described in section 4.

8. Retention

The publication platform does not publish a fixed retention period for website request logs; they are kept for as long as needed to operate and secure the service, and longer where an incident is being investigated. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle it and keep a record of it; no fixed period has yet been set.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability, within the limits set by law. To exercise these rights, email info@theimpossibledesk.com.

You may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35 / Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, or with the authority in your EU country of residence.

10. Changes

We will update this notice if the website changes, and in any event before any service, form or payment function is introduced.
